RSW-Refrigerated Seawater Class

This 2-day (16-hr) introductory workshop is designed to familiarize people with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques of RSW systems. Topics include refrigeration fundamentals, refrigeration and RSW terminology, refrigeration and RSW safety, benefits of RSW, RSW system theory, and system configurations. System startup, operation, shutdown, winterizing, de-winterizing and systematic troubleshooting techniques will also be included.  An operational RSW system is part of this demonstration and training. This workshop assumes no prior knowledge of RSW or refrigeration systems. This workshop would normally cost $300, however due to generous program support the cost this semester is reduced to $150. Space is limited, register early to reserve your seat in the workshop.
